Reminder today is the last day to become a USATF member before the cost jumps. We’d love to see more members join USATF and compete with Wicked at USATF Grand Prix races. The first race is the Super Sunday 5K in Cambridge on Feb 12USATF has announced an individual membership fee increase effective January 15. The new annual individual membership fees will be Adult - $55.00; Youth - $30.00. If you have yet to renew for 2023, do so before January 15 at the current $40 Adult and $25 Youth fee. Even if your membership isn't needed till the road race GP, Mountain Circuit, outdoor track and field events, or Cross Country, you'll save by renewing now. Login at usatf.sport80.com . The need for this is primarily due to increases in all insurance costs related to all aspects of sports insurance (accident, liability, SafeSport related). Several companies have stopped insuring sports federations due to the state of the industry. Other operational costs directly related to event operations and programs have also increased. The New England association ranks number one in member clubs and sanctioned events, and top 3 in individual members. The number and level of association programs, series, and championships is among the most expansive in the country, and New England is one of only a handful of associations with a full time office working for the sport. By joining the Wicked USATF team, you help the team score when you run USATF races and get discounts at USATF races.
